Tags: Minutes of the November Book Club

Book Club Christmas Party is at Nicky M's on December 13th. Christmas theme. Santa undecided so start fattening those husbands up right away. Mine is still over excited from being santa two years ago so I have him on a strict beansprout diet.

Nicky M.... Truffles and mince pies
Cath .... Matt's turkey
Bonnie ... salads and I have written down champagne?
Miranda .... Mozzarella salad
Deanie... Ham
Janey ... knibbles
Nicky T ... salmon
Jewell.... dessert

The book club has agreed to read for December the fantastic new about-to-be-bestseller by, oh goodness, look at that, Sarah-Kate Lynch: On Top of Everything.

Anyone who can fit in another book instead of re-reading this again and again although of course you could, might like to consider:

Almost French by ???
84 Charing Cross Rd by Helene Hanff
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society
Loving Frank by Nancy Horan

On good reads it would appear that everybody enjoyed The Bolter by Frances Osbourne .. "love a good slut" I think is a quote from Nicky M.
